As a business, marketing, salesman or woman; or an entrepreneur, this strategy can help improve your brand awareness, generate leads, double sales; connect in depth with your customers who are also your audience online, and engage prospects who in turn will become buyers and ultimately loyal customers in the long run.

So then how do you begin to create a content marketing strategy?

The first and foremost thing to do is to define your goal. What is your aim? What do you want to achieve by developing a content marketing plan? Secondly, conduct a persona that is a buyer research. What are the attitudes and trends of prospective buyers? What motivates your prospects to buy? What brand appeals to them more? How can you gain the advantage over your competitors? These are questions you should ask when conducting your research.

Thirdly, run a content audit. What types or kinds of content do you want to create? Which content deliverables are you going to use? Fourthly, choose a content management system. Here, your content management system includes content creation, content publication and content analytics. There are social media analytical tools which you can use to analyze your content like Hubspot and Mailchimp to measure your audience engagement and impressions.

Next, you brain storm content ideas. There are various kinds or types of content marketing and deliverables you can choose to deliver your message about your brand and product ranging from blogs and blog posts, ebooks, articles, e-mails, proposals, web content, about us page, bios; case studies (storytelling); social media posts, podcasts, videos(scripts) and e-mails with videos; white papers, e-newsletters and so on.

Then, next on the line, you determine which types of content you want to create depending on which suits your brand and product or services. Finally, you can now publish and manage your content.

In conclusion therefore, content creation process includes preparing, organizing, writing, editing and of course improving per time on your content as you move ahead in achieving your business or marketing goals.
